OUR STORY

Shem, founder of the Roundwood Project, started fermenting things in his shed in 2002. He established the brewery in Park Royal in 2021 and has been bringing joy to the local community ever since.
Shem’s background as a Clinical Scientist means that he researches every aspect of the brewing process, from water profile to yeast genetics. Each new brew is carefully considered and puts the humble yeast cell centre stage by creating the right conditions to coax all the flavour out.
